Posted on March 12, 2020

While February is the season of love because of Valentine’s Day, the season of love ceremonies is coming. Spring is the time for weddings, so we wanted to be well prepared and updated with the newest dress trends. So all of you brides-to-be, here are some of the wedding dresses that we are most excited for this season.

5 Wedding Dress Trends:

Below we have put together 5 of the biggest trends that are going to be seen this spring. Even if you are a bride-to-be, a guest, or even if there is no wedding, it’s never wrong to fantasize about the perfect dress.

Brides in Blazers and Jumpsuits:

We saw blazers as a big spring and summer trend, so it is no surprise that it’s going to seen as a wedding trend too. This After Six Tuxedo Jacket is the ideal pick for this trend. Not only is it just blazers, but it’s jumpsuits too. Being a boss woman is even relevant in weddings, which is so empowering. This Julia Jordan ruffle shoulder jumpsuit is an elegant yet powerful statement to wear for your wedding. And if a plain white jumpsuit isn’t your thing, we also found some lace jumpsuits like this Tadashi Shoji one, to add a little flair.

Satin Gowns:

Satin is a luxurious material for a wedding dress. We are excited of the many new and different takes on this old glamorous trend. For this trend we found many options. There are ball gowns like this low back dress by BLISS Monique Lhuillier. There are also some with low necks or v-necks like this Jesus Peiro. The last one we found is this high neck, cropped satin gown with beaded detail also by Jesus Peiro. All of these have a unique look to them which is great when looking for wedding dresses. We all express ourselves in different ways, so variety is always nice.

Lace with a Twist:

It seems that the lace trend has been around forever, but this spring, they are being presented in new ways. Whether is just an accent for the top like this Monique Lhuillier gown. Or it could be the entire gown like this Pronovias lace sheath wedding dress. There’s also some different designed laces which is why this trend is different from previous lace trends. This one we found by Tadashi Shoji is a beautiful beaded lace gown with different swirl lace designs.

A Pop of Leg:

Putting your legs on display is going to be a big trend this spring. We all love a little pop of leg in our dresses, so putting it into your wedding fit just seems right. There are a few options that we put below that best fit this trend. The first one we added is the sexy low cut dress with a high slit. We love the confidence this dress gives. The next one we found is a little more elegant with a lace top and a flowing bottom piece. The slit on this gown adds to the flowiness of the gown and makes it elegant. The last gown we found is a sleek and beautiful ball gown. The slit on this gown adds a little more shape and design.

Corsets:

A timeless piece that we see trending in spring and summer is also becoming a wedding dress trend. Using the process of boning in wedding dresses is a very popular style. This year they are being used in many different styles. But, something that we noticed most of is that they are being used in sleeveless gowns. The three gowns below all have different designs to them, but the idea of corsetry or boning is used in a similar way. We love the elegant and vintage look to these dresses.
